Welcome to NeuroLearn.

My name is Dr. Stefnie Loots, and I am an Educational Specialist with a deep passion for helping children reach their full potential. I work exclusively with Foundation Phase learners (ages 5–9), supporting families in understanding and addressing challenges related to ADHD, learning difficulties, and neurological development.

I hold advanced qualifications in Education and have completed my PhD in Education, specializing in ADHD and the connection between neuroscience, nutrition, and learning. Over the past 11 years, I have dedicated my career to studying and supporting learners with diverse learning needs. Through comprehensive neurological and educational assessments, I identify each child’s unique strengths and challenges, providing parents with clarity and direction. My role extends beyond assessment - I guide families toward the right therapists, doctors, and interventions to ensure each child receives the support they need.

I have three boys, my eldest son’s story has profoundly shaped my path. He overcame a brain tumor by the grace of God, and walking that journey with him opened my eyes to the power of resilience and the importance of early, holistic intervention. His recovery inspired me to study the neuroscience of the developing brain - from gut health to cognitive functioning - exploring everything that influences a child’s ability to think, speak, learn, and grow.

I believe that many children with learning difficulties are often misunderstood. With the right support, every child can learn, flourish, and achieve according to their unique gifts and abilities. My mission is to help both parents and teachers truly understand these children and to guide them toward the strategies and resources that will unlock each child’s potential.
